Legislation is being introduced today to use your tax dollars to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico. A “temporary” ban is being implemented today to ban legal immigrants from several nations in the Middle East. (One of them is not Israel.) The federal government will announce today that any city that provides sanctuary for undocumented immigrants will have federal funds cut off. (10,000 undocumented Irish in Boston using schools, finding employment without paying taxes, using medical care without paying. But they’re white, so it’s OK.)

In The New York Times today: “Even though things move in a negative direction, you have to understand that ancestors of ours have had to endure more.
